Bulk Handling Equipment and also owns and operates an almond sheller and walnut huller. Compton Enterprises customers base is national as well as international, such as Australia, Chili, Italy, and the Far East.
Compton has developed numerous innovative and highly effective pieces of equipment for these industries. Compton specializes in practical, innovative solutions for their customers. The Compton Elevator / Slinger was developed for Farmers Rice to shoot grain into hard to reach corners of storage buildings to increase storage capacities The Self Propelled Portable Pit Elevator was developed for loading and/or unloading of railroad cars. Compton has been able to go out and develop specialized solutions for their customers needs.
In our earlier developmental days Compton Enterprises installed various diesel engines. We quickly learned that our customers wanted John Deere power plants. The reasons were obvious: John Deere's reputation for parts and service and the availability of parts at local dealerships.
We found our sales staff spending more time trying to explain why we were not using John Deere engines rather that the features of our shakers.
We listen to our customers and they want John Deere engines in our equipment. Our equipment is sold standard with John Deere Engines.
